Problem
450 Million people cannot breathe easy.These patients suffer from severe lung disease, that can not be accurately cured today. Standard treatment is often not efficient and comes with a lot of side effects. Additionally, development times of new medicines takes 8 to 10 years, with 3 to 5 years spent at early stage of development.
Lösung
RNA technology allows precise modulation at the root cause of disease. ZephyRNA brings small therapeutic RNA (siRNA) directly into the lung via inhalation. Thereby we create a highly efficient and safe treatment, that acts locally and surpasses side effects. Use of RNA also drastically shortens early developmnt times from 3 to 5 years down to 1 to 2 years.
Produkt
ZephyRNA develops, produces, and sells approved siRNA drugs. We will provide authority approved drugs for inhalation treatment of severe lung diseases.Our lead program enables high-risk patients with severe viral infection to combat this life-threatening disease. In parallel, we develop novel candidates for pulmonary fibrosis, a rare lung disease with desastrous consequences.
ZephyRNA drugs will enable these patients with severe lung disease to breathe freely again.
Alleinstellung
The ZephyRNA technology is the only one that uses self-assembling siRNA molecules to bring the RNA into the lung. Our proprietary chemical design and formulation allows efficient and safe uptake of the RNA into the lung cells, where they tackle the disease at its root cause.Geschäftsmodell

Our lead program tackles a servicable market of apprx. 300 Mio US$.ZephyRNAs primary customer will be big pharma companies to be adressed by a licensing deal or merger. These companies have the infrastructure and fincancial powers to drive a late stage development and drug distribution program (often >> 100 Mio €).
The final users of ZephyRNA drugs are caregivers and patients suffering from these horrible diseases. We can relieve their pains and suffering and finally bring back life into breathing...
