Concurrently, the need for diversification in battery technologies (e.g., Lithium-Ion, Sodium-Ion, All-Solid-State Batteries) introduces a significant investment risk. At MANUGY, we develop and sell modular, small- to midscale production solutions for battery manufacturing. Our modular platform enables future-proof battery production by offering high flexibility, allowing easy adaptations to evolving technologies. Our approach significantly reduces costs and risks associated with upcoming investments in battery cell development and production. Especially, production technology for next-gen batteries demand innovative platforms and new solutions. MANUGY develops modular, small- to midscale production solutions using minienvironments and fastly changeable platforms. The minienvironments are optimized for clean and dry room conditions in battery production decreasing energy consumption over the whole process chain. The platforms are optimized for processes in the electrode manufacturing and cell assembly connected with the minienvironments by standardized mechanical, electrical and control interfaces. This platform approach offers high flexibility for innovation, efficient scaling and serial production of small- to midscale production volumes. There is no battery production and platform solution specialized for production volumes between lab- and gigafactory scales underlining the high risks in transferring battery cell specification into fitting production equipment. At MANUGY we developed a flexible approach changing the status quo closing the gap between lab- and gigascale production volumes. Our team is originated in mechanical engineering and battery development enabling future technologies for battery technology. MANUGY offers flexible, small- to midscale production solutions for the production of energy storage systems, especially for the battery technology. This includes consultation, the development and sales of battery production equipment/platforms from electrode manufacturing to cell assembly and aftersales as a one-stop-shop including battery cell technologies and knowhow. The modular standardized platforms offer high scalability by reduction of engineering and delivery lead times (minienvironments).
